Ethics Policy
Our Ethical Framework
At Softylus, we believe in technology with purpose. Our ethical framework guides all of our decisions, partnerships, and creations. We are committed to developing digital solutions that benefit society and respect human dignity.
Ethical Principles
Human-Centered Design
We design technology that serves people, not the other way around. We prioritize user needs, accessibility, and inclusive design principles in all our work.
Data Responsibility
We respect privacy as a fundamental right. We collect only necessary data, secure it with industry-best practices, and are transparent about our data use policies.
Environmental Sustainability
We recognize the environmental impact of digital products and strive to develop energy-efficient solutions. We consider sustainable practices in our business operations and technology choices.
Accountability & Transparency
We take responsibility for the technology we create and are transparent about its capabilities and limitations. We maintain open communication with clients and users.
Project Selection Criteria
We carefully evaluate potential projects and partnerships against our ethical framework. We decline work that:
- Promotes discrimination, exploitation, or harm to vulnerable groups
- Purposefully spreads misinformation or deception
- Contributes to environmental harm without mitigation efforts
- Enables surveillance or data collection that violates privacy rights
- Supports oppressive regimes or organizations
Ethical AI Development
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly central to our work, we follow these principles:
- We design AI systems to be fair, unbiased, and equitable
- We ensure transparency in how AI makes decisions
- We maintain human oversight and accountability in all AI systems
- We continuously test for and mitigate potential biases
- We design AI to complement human capabilities, not replace human judgment in critical decisions
Enforcement & Review
Our ethics policy is not just a document but a living framework that guides our decisions. We regularly review and update this policy as technology and society evolves. We welcome feedback from clients, users, and the public on our ethical practices.
Reporting Concerns
If you have concerns about our ethical practices or would like to provide feedback, please contact our Ethics Committee at [email protected].
